Gunnar Englund 

CEO

Gunnar worked as a wooden mold maker at Orrefors 1990-1997 and then founded Fantasilaboratoriet 1998.

He has a background as a sculptor.

Albin Englund

CadCam and CNC operator

Albin has seen his father making molds since he was born.

He is a skilled illustrator having attended workshops

and courses at PlaygroundSquad were he mainly learned to work in Photoshop and Maya. After Fantasilaboratoriet decided to expand traditional mold making  with CNC-technology,

Albin was the obvious choice, now using

both Rhino and Vectric Aspire.

Victor Steen

mold maker apprentice

Victor first came to Fantasilaboratoriet 2022

when studying carpentry.  He had already completed

a 4 year education as a glass blower at Riksglasskolan

and wanted to broaden his skills.

After a trial period  we had the opportunity to arrange

a 2 year internship through Hantverksakademin ,

the Swedish Craft association.

Victor is gaining skills both  in traditional mold-turning and 

with our updated technology, scanning and CNC-operation.
